I hope everyone has been enjoying summer; I know I have! Here we are three days away from Conference 2010! If you’re like most, you are frantically trying to decide on the right shoes and find the perfect dress for our cocktail party on Friday evening. I have mine and it’s fire hot red! I thought I could offer a few tips if you are still having trouble getting those last 10 off. (Hey, maybe it’s your first 10—either way these tips will help!)
If you are struggling to lose weight, there is a good chance you’re making it harder than it has to be. This happens to a lot of people. The truth is, losing weight can be easy. It comes down to these three basic steps:
1. Develop a weight-loss mindset
If you don’t develop the “Weight Loss Mindset”, then you’re never going to experience the success you want. How do you get into the “Weight Loss Mindset”? 2. Eat to live, don’t live to eat!
We can trick our bodies into letting go of fat by simply making better choices; there’s no need to go hungry! With the right combination and portions you can eat 5-6 times a day. 3. Exercise
You won’t be able to lose weight without exercise. Exercising uses your calories for energy, and helps to burn fat. Lifting weights also builds lean body mass which helps burn even more calories.
