The It Works Way

Hello It Works family! It is time for me to formally introduce myself as the newest addition to the It Works! Marketing team. My name is Brittany, and my job here at Corporate is called Connections. My job consists of two unique parts; connecting with all you wonderful distributors and connecting It Works with the rest of the world! More specifically, I will be focusing on social media and public relations. I’m gonna be facebooking, twittering, and blogging daily! My goal is to help you utilize social media as a tool that provides you with engaging content as well as information and tips about how to grow your business. Social media has grown to be a very powerful business tool in today’s global economy, and the story of how I got here is a testament to that power. Here is my story:

I am a born and raised California girl. After college I was in need of a change, and I decided that Grand Rapids, Michigan was the next stop. I realized that I could use the power of social media to leverage myself into a job. So, I started a facebook page where I began interacting with and meeting people from Grand Rapids. Soon, I had thousands of facebook friends! Luckily, the media caught wind of my social media campaign, and by the time I got out to Michigan, I was on the front page of the Grand Rapids Press! As it turns out, Mark Pentecost picked up the paper that day and read the article about a young girl who moved across country and used social media to create quite a stir in her new city. He thought, “Hey, if she can market herself like that, what would she be able to do for us?” So, he brought me in for an interview, and as they say, the rest is history! So I am here now, in Grand Rapids, given this great opportunity to work for this amazing company! (I am pinching myself, just like you guys!) I am thrilled to see where this opportunity will take me, excited to watch this company grow, and anticipating meeting with many of you and hearing stories of your great success!
