“Invest in yourself”

          The August Green Carpet event was awesome! We packed the house on Thursday Night; it was standing room only. Wally got us started and turned it over to Mike Potillo for an energized opportunity presentation that emphasized timing and making a commitment. This was followed by pinning our newly promoted Distributors, along with some unbelievable testimonials from both established and emerging leaders in the field. I loved seeing the big smiles from those whose commissions had sky rocketed and the chance to hear how many dreams are coming true (2011 the year of Re-Dreaming – Bigger Dreams).  We ended Thursday night with writing our dreams and goals on “Dream Lanterns” and then launched them into the night sky! It was an amazing sight that I will remember for a long time.

The energy and excitement generated on Thursday evening, carried over to our Friday morning training when Pam Sowder spoke to another packed house at Stoneybrook Golf Club. You couldn’t help but feel extremely motivated as she taught the “Steps of Success” and challenged each and every one of us to take action.

After a great lunch at the Golf Club, we headed just down the road to give tours of our new Corporate Headquarters. This was a great opportunity to let our field team interact with members of our corporate team. I would have loved to bottle all the excitement and energy that took place over this incredible two day period!

When we decided to move our Corporate Headquarters to Florida, I envisioned a destination place where people could come and see who we are, visit corporate, meet our team, and get a strong sense for who It Works really is. What has evolved is absolutely amazing. Each event has set a new record for attendance. Many have come each and every month to get their It Works “fix”. Instant motivation, positive attitudes, up to date news, and an opportunity to mingle with so many of our great leaders are just some of the reasons this has become such a successful event. It’s been fun for me to sit back and watch this turn into something more than I ever dreamed. I’ve watched as some bring their teams along, some their families and all of them are enjoying the beaches, shopping, and fun in the sun. The It Works Way is growing and spreading to so many who are looking for a better life, both healthy and wealthy.

So now it’s time to bring this blog back to you. What are you doing to “Invest In Yourself”? We just paid out our largest commissions in company history—most money paid out along with paying the most number of team members.  I am proud of each of you and excited about the raises that so many of you achieved in your checks. My challenge to you now is to invest in yourself.  We are about to embark on our City Tours for 2011 where we will be releasing two new tools that will help you continue the incredible momentum we’ve already started this year.

           I challenge you to “Invest in Yourself” by being at City Tour, bringing guests, and filling the room with your teams.  We will continue to make 2011 an amazing year.
