Diamond Kriston Kenney’s It
Works! career started when she decided to do a simple favor for some friends.
She knew nothing about It Works!—the products or the business—but signed up as
a distributor to help her longtime friends, Executive Sheila Oddo, and Triple
Diamond Jessica Hebert. Due to mailing address issues, Kriston’s Business
Builder Kit was delayed, so she spent her first few weeks in the business only
using Facebook, her cell phone, and her personality, which proved to be all
Kriston needed for a phenomenal start. “I went Ruby without a Wrap!” she says.
“It’s about who has the most spirit. I’m humble, I smile, and I’m happy.” She
achieved Diamond in less than 90 days, hitting the milestone rank the day after
her thirtieth birthday. Kriston was inspired to succeed by a fellow IT Lister,
Kristen Anderson, whose article in the first quarter 2012 Spirit motivated
Kriston to focus on making personal connections. “It’s not about me; it’s about
everybody else,” Kriston says. “The girls that work under me work to help each
other.” Working with her team has changed Kriston’s entire motivation for being
a part of It Works!: “I started as wanting to get my own house, [wanting] the
material things. Now it’s that I don’t want to disappoint my team. If I can do
it, you can do it. And I can’t expect them to do anything I haven’t done!”
Achieving Diamond is something she’s done and knows her whole team can achieve:
“I told my girls if we hold on tight, all stick together, we’ll all make it to
Diamond, and a team of Diamonds is stronger than anything!”
