Are You Helping or Hurting Your Business

Do you want to learn how to MAXIMIZE the compensation plan?

Do you want to help your team succeed?

Network marketing is all about inspiring others to do what you do. It is not about GIVING your personal customers and distributors away in the hopes that it inspires them to build their business.

For example, you have signed up a new distributor. He or she has not acquired their two Loyal Customers within the 30 day deadline, meaning you won’t get your $100 Fast Start Bonus. Well, you certainly don’t want to miss out on that hundred bucks! So, you decided to make it easy for them and GIVE them two Loyal Customers. You get your $100 Bonus, but was it worth it? Your new distributor hasn’t learned anything, and you gave away two Loyal Customers. The new distributor becomes a dead end, and instead of mentoring them, and training them properly, you decide to move on to the next new distributor. Again, as the deadline for your Fast Start Bonus inches closer, you panic and give the distributor two Loyal Customers, hoping that this time things will be different. Maybe she is just getting off to a slow start? Or maybe she has just been really busy this month? But nothing changes; the new distributor is unmotivated and uninterested. Time goes on and this vicious cycle continues. By now, you are starting to get burned out. Nothing is going the way you thought it would, no one is working the business, and you just feel like quitting. You go to your upline and ask, “What is wrong? No one is working but me!” Your sponsor responds by asking:

■Are you making sure your new Distributors are hosting a launch party within their first 10 days?

■Did you go over The Steps to Success with your new Distributor and coach them on acquiring their four loyal customers within 30 days so that they can earn $100 in free product?

■Did you follow up with her, make sure she was PROPERLY trained, and answer all her questions?
Remember, the secret to creating a successful distributor lies in how well you train them. Are you providing them with the necessary resources and knowledge? Are you acting as a mentor and motivating them to take their first steps toward success? Are you there for them, offering advice and counseling when they feel discouraged? Do you regularly check up with them, making sure all their questions are answered, and constantly inspiring them to take their business to the next level? Of course, if you did do all of these things, and that new distributor still couldn’t get motivated, then you didn’t have a committed distributor to begin with, you had a Loyal Customer. You should qualify people first by going through The Steps to Success and if for any reason they will not agree to one of those steps then they should be considered a customer. Prequalify people first and then decide how they should come on board, whether as a customer or a distributor.

Remember! When you do get those unmotivated distributors, do NOT give away your customers. Do NOT give away your distributors. It will not motivate them and you will become frustrated looking back and realizing that all those Loyal Customers you gave away could have qualified you for that Car Bonus! (Which would give you an extra $600 a month, instead of just the $100 Fast Start Bonus!)
It’s like raising children. If you continue to do everything for your children, they will never learn and they will never feel powerful. You help your team by taking the time to walk them through The Steps to Success, by helping them launch their business with a Wrap Party, by getting them plugged in to the conference calls, the It Works Facebook Fan Page, by showing them how to use the Living It Up Newsletter and by attending the annual It Works Conference and the Boot Camps with them.

Everyone wants a million dollar business but they have to take the time to learn the business for themselves. Empower your teams and equip them with the knowledge of the business. It took me years to understand this concept, and now I am teaching it to you so you don’t have to make the same mistakes I did. Become the leader that you are meant to be. Become the million dollar earner you know you can be. Learn this business. Your life is going to be the same five years from now if you don’t change. Where was your life five years ago? Look back and reflect on that. YOU ARE IN CONTROL OF YOUR DESTINY.

This business is a direct reflection on your attitude. If you don’t think people can do this business, then they won’t. Everyone can do this business with the right coaching and mentoring. Don’t steal your distributor’s power. They can do this and so can you. Keep your customers and put them on your front line. Keep your distributors and put them on your front line. Remember, attitude is contagious. Is yours worth catching?

Much love and appreciation,

Pam
