Dream It - Live It

I want to share my story with you in hopes that as you hear it you can identify and know you can decide to change your life.

As a teacher and coach of 16 years I had grown frustrated that while I could be the very best teacher and coach in the system, there was a ceiling to the income I could make. Others dictated what I was worth. To know that I could do nothing to increase my income as a teacher really had me in a rut. I had always had an entrepreneurial spirit and yet no heritage from others in my family before me owning their own business as well as not having the financial means to put the upfront money in needed to begin my own business. I read every book on investing and owning your own business, was not afraid of hard work and loved the idea of challenging myself in a new way. The inner passion grew with the knowledge I was gaining and then I was introduced to a home based business opportunity in 1993 that changed my future, the future of my family and for future generations to come.

My wife and I were already extremely busy, very involved people but we set some very realistic goals. We started aiming for a small but realistic goal of $500.00 per month, and we committed to building the business one night a week.

As we reached different benchmarks we would reward ourselves.  We had grown so accustomed to living pay check to pay check that it was fun to begin dreaming again.  We began by having some special nights out together as a family and as a couple and then we also began dreaming and planning some vacations.  A really big dream of ours was to take a family vacation and then to actually be able to afford a vacation without the kids!

 

The next goals for us grew bigger.  We wanted to get financially free by paying off all debt.  Next we wanted to go full time with this opportunity and be our own boss.  We worked very hard but the work was never more rewarding and in the process of growing the business our knowledge, our skills and confidence all grew.  We were no longer just dreaming of a brighter future we were living it!

 
Now as we grow our It Works business with you, hand in hand, we want to do it in what we like to refer to as the:

My challenge to each of you is to use our story as a road map. Begin making the plans to actively build your business. See where your family can make some sacrifices now to change your family’s future forever. Anything worth anything will take sacrifice. Begin setting those personal goals and dreaming again and as you reach those goals reward yourself. It will not be long before you are not just dreaming it, but living it!
