IWG Book Club

Welcome to the third session of the It Works Global Book Club! We are currently reading, “Beach Money” by Jordan Adler. This week we are discussing Chapters 6-10. Today I will be focusing on the major theme presented in chapter six- duplication and simplicity!

In the beginning of Chapter six, Jordan visited a successful network marketer’s beautiful home, and wondered how he could leverage himself into the same position. Russ’s answer surprised Jordan because it was such a simple concept. “You must recruit twenty to thirty people to start with.” He then challenged Jordan go out and find a good network marketing company. (A good network marketing company generally has five key components. It is ahead of a trend, has innovative products, a lucrative compensation plan, great service, and an outstanding management team. Looks like It Works is fantastic!) He told Jordan to go out and start recruiting.



Like many of you, Jordan had never recruited in his life! But, he knew that if consistently met with people he could most certainly make it happen. He wanted to live the life that Russ was living, a life with “Beach Money”! So, Jordan learned a simple, twenty minute, one-page, opportunity presentation and he made it a goal to show it to three people every week during his lunch break. (Yes! He was building the business while working a full-time job!) He knew that he could recruit twenty to thirty people by sticking to this plan.

Jordan’s plan worked- and as we can see on page 31, by 1995 he was making the big bucks! What worked? How did he do it? He stuck to a simple plan that others were able to duplicate. Remember, don’t make it more complicated than it has to be!

It Works has a simple plan laid out for you, one that you can easily train others to follow as well. We call it “The Steps to Success”.


 
Step One: Sign up and receive your business builder kit.

Step Two: Get qualified for commissions by signing up for your 80 BV autoship.

Step Three: Gather four Loyal Customers within your first 30 days. Then you will receive $100 in free product credit!

Step Four: Build to executive by recruiting two Distributors.

The Hidden Step is step five! You must train your new Distributors to do exactly what YOU just did! As they complete the Steps to Success, your team will grow (and so will your paycheck)! Remember this simple formula, and you will see success! Jordan kept his formula simple, and look at all the success he has achieved!
